Every night, before I go to bed, I periodically check Yodlee (the exhaustive personal finance site). After logging in last night, I see that my American Express card as a negative balance of $13k…
"Great," I think. Someone stole my identity and now they are buying tons o'crap online. I logged into my AMEX site so I could see where these little trolls are spending my credit. After a closer look, I see no charges… instead I see five deposits.
It wasn't a negative balance of $13 grand, it was a positive one. I wonder how long it will take whomever deposited that money, to find that it's missing. Until then eBay is my playground…
