Suits and Ties…

Later today Senator Bill Frist (R-TN) will be stopping by the office.  So naturally, all the agents are dressed in suit and ties.  It kinda feels like Christmas or some special occasion.  I rarely see other people in the office in true business attire.

Hey speaking of suits!  Check out Thomas Mahon's blog, English Cut.  Thomas is a bespoke tailor based off Savile Row in London, England.  I'll be meeting Thomas and his apprentice in Atlanta on April 20th to discuss the possibilities of them cutting me a custom suit.  Nice….

  1. “So naturally, all the agents are dressed in suit and ties.” Does that include you? That’s fancy my friend. I don’t get it though. Would you have naturally thought to dress that way if someone didn’t tell you that you had to? I think i would have sported jeans and some trendy t-shirt. Attire is an interesting little monster when it comes to social circles, business, and even ministry. I’m always fascinated by people’s remarks about what is the “appropriate” thing to wear or not wear.

  2. In ATL on the 20th-21st eh? Well, don’t know what your schedule is like, and honestly don’t know what mine will be then. If possible, lets squeeze in a time to find a watering hole and catch up.

  3. Ah my young T Brooks, you truly have mastered Rule # 6: You get what you pay for. Well done, Lad. Well done.

  4. Yes, Biscuet… it included me. I guess I would dress to match whatever I thought our guest would be wearing to the office. There is no doubt that Senator Frist would be wearing a suit and tie, would you expect less from a former head of state?
