east lake

i went to a PGA tourney late last year at east lake golf club.

whilst walking the course, i fell in love. in love with golf. it’s not hard for that to happen when you’re at east lake. every bit of this course is excellent and meticulous. i longed to play on this course. a couple dilemmas though:

a. you have to be a member or guest of a member
b. you have to be invited to be a member
c. i don’t know any members
d. if i were invited and selected for membership, i don’t have the entry fee, a cool $275,000.

so i thought and strategized about how to get on the course. well the saying is true, “if you can’t beat them, join them.”

and so here i am the newest employee of atlanta’s most prestigious golf course.
